Lavrov reveals the content of the phone call between Putin and Trump

In a recent phone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump indicated that Washington was ready to send medical assistance to the Russian side in the future, if necessary.

In a video interview today with Russian and foreign media, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said: “President Trump stressed that if Russia appears to have additional needs, the United States, after producing sufficient quantities of necessary medical equipment and materials, will be ready to send such supplies to Russia“.

“I think this is a normal course of action among the partners,” he added.

Earlier, Russia sent an An-124 transport plane (Ruslan) to New York with a load of medical equipment.

The Russian ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, said that on the plane, sterilization materials, goggles, medical masks and respirators, were necessary to save the lives of Americans infected with the emerging corona viruses, in conditions of the epidemic.
