The Syrian army recovers two villages in the vicinity of Maarat al-Numan in Idlib countryside

Syrian army units have recovered the villages of Sheikh Dams and Hantoutin, west of the city of Maarat al-Numan in Idlib countryside, according to the official Syrian “SANA” agency, on Sunday evening.

The agency noted that the army units liberated the aforementioned villages southwest and northwest of Maarat al-Numan in the southern Idlib countryside, “after the last terrorist gatherings and fortifications were destroyed and their fallen remnants were chased towards the towns of Kafar sjan and Marzita.”
