An Iraqi source reported hearing explosions around Baghdad International Airport.
The source confirmed that a camp for the American forces was attacked by two Katyusha rockets, noting that the launch took place from an area bordering the airport.
He explained that the two missiles specifically targeted the Center for Diplomatic Support in Baghdad, which hosts officials in the international coalition.
No information has been received to date about any loss of life or property.
Military sites in Iraq belonging to the International Alliance have been targeted by similar attacks.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the launch.
