The first Sharia judge in Damascus, Mahmoud Al-Marawi, called on the specialists and members of the Syrian Astronomical Society to seek the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan on the evening of the 29th of Shaaban 1441 AH corresponding to the 23 of April 2020.
Al-Maarawi indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the petition will be restricted to specialists and members of the Syrian Astronomical Society due to the precautionary conditions and procedures to address the Corona virus.
