Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan met here on Friday with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu .
The meeting took place on the sidelines of an international conference on “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Opportunities and Challenges” being hosted by Uzbekistan in Tashkent on Friday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them to serve common interests .
They also discussed the most prominent developments in the regional and international arenas.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Hisham Al-Suwailem and the director-general of the office of foreign minister, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
On Thursday, the Saudi foreign minister held a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from China, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
