President Bashar al-Assad sent on Sunday a message of congratulation to President of Russia ,Vladimir Putin, on the 76th anniversary of victory over Nazism, wishing the Russian Federation permanent prosperity and progress.
President al-Assad said in the message “I extend to you, Russian people and the veterans heartfelt congratulations on this occasion that documents one of the most important victories achieved by peoples for the the sake of freedom and independence, and registers sacrifices and heroism offered by the Russian people during a hard war through which they wrote courage and defense for the homeland.”
President al -Assad wished the Russian Federation permanent progress, prosperity and success in its continuous endeavors to consolidate stability and security across the world and in its defense of the humanitarian values and the principles of the international legitimacy and international law.
