Attacks on Syrian citizens in Lebanon as they head to the Syrian Embassy to vote in presidential elections

Today, a number of Lebanese people attacked Syrian citizens residing in Lebanon as they were heading to the Syrian Embassy in Beirut to vote in the presidential elections, smashing car windows and blocking the roads in front of citizens.

SANA correspondent quoted reliable sources as saying that the Syrians were exposed in several Lebanese regions to attacks, which resulted in the injury of dozens of them. These attacks did not discourage Syrians residing in Lebanon from continuing to flock to the headquarters of the embassy and cast their votes in the presidential elections.

Since early morning, the Syrian Embassy in Beirut has witnessed a massive influx of Syrians residing in Lebanon to participate in the presidential elections.
