SANA reporter said Thursday that the box of handwritten support by members of People’s Assembly for the candidates to presidential elections arrived to the Supreme Constitutional Court.
Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court Mohammad Jihad al-Lahham said in a statement to journalists, that following the reception of the box of handwritten support from the People’s Assembly, the court will examine all the candidacy applications and decide within a legal period of five days.
Al-Laham added that after ending the study of the candidacy applications according to the Constitutional and legal conditions, The Court will announce the names of the candidates whom it decide to accept their candidacy applications.
