Turkey issued a decision to open a medical school and a higher institute of health sciences, in the town of Goban Bay (Al-Rai) in the countryside of Aleppo Governorate, northern Syria.
The decision was signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and it was published in the Official Gazette on Saturday.
The decision stated that a medical college and a higher institute of health sciences will be opened in the town of Coban Bay, and that they will follow the Turkish University of Health Sciences in Istanbul.
In turn, the Al-Ra’i City Council published a post on its Facebook page, in which it stated, “The Turkish presidency issues a decision to open a medical college in the city of Juban Bay (the city of al-Rai) in the Euphrates Shield area north of Aleppo,” including a picture of the Turkish presidential decision.
