Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that he sent a message to the new US president, Joe Biden, after he won the election, and that he prayed for him.
He added, “I sent a letter to Mr. Biden after his election. I sent it this week and in the letter I described the state of the world, asking him to stand firm and change policies towards justice and peace, as I prayed for him.”
He added, “What we have noticed so far in the political history of the United States is that its international policies are decided by the board of directors outside the scene. Presidents’ role is small in this, but we hope that Mr. Biden will nevertheless be able to bring about positive changes in the foreign policy of his country.”
