Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All East John X Yazigi called for prayers for the return of security and stability to Syrian lands.
The Patriarch, in the Christmas message, said “On this glorious occasion we pray for the realization of peace in Syria, for the restoration of stability to Lebanon and to every country and spot in this East and from this world, which is suffered by violence and terrorism.”.
He also called for the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, criticising the silence of the international Community about the crimes against Palestinians by the Israeli occupation.
