Today, the Ministry of Health has announced the death of one of the registered HIV infections in Syria for a person suffering from asthma who had previously had an open heart operation, raising the number of deaths from the virus to 6.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it today, the ministry said that 4 recorded cases of HIV infection had been cured, bringing the number of cures to 50.
The ministry had announced yesterday a new HIV infection with a contact in Sweida, bringing the number of infections recorded in Syria to 123.
It is noteworthy that the first infection with the Corona virus in Syria was recorded on the twenty-second of last March for a person coming from outside the country, while the first death was recorded on the twenty-ninth of the same month.
