The Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria closed a private hospital in Karmouz , west of Alexandria, after cases of Corona virus appeared among the hospital medical personnel.
A medical source in the Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria said that the Preventive Medicine Department of the Health Directorate implemented sterilization and disinfection procedures for the aforementioned specialized hospital building, in addition to isolating the contacts of the injured for a period of 14 days.
The source added that the infected cases were transferred to the isolation hospital, to receive health care, after they proved positive laboratory tests for the Corona virus.
On the other hand, Dr. Ahmed Mohsen, Medical Director of Abi Qir Stone, announced the exit of 5 new cases from the isolation of Abu Qir over two days, bringing the total of recovering cases in Egypt to 169.
Dr. Mervat Al-Sayed, Director of Al-Ajmi Hospital for Isolation, added that 13 cases of HIV patients who had improved their health were transferred from Al-Ajami Hospital to quarantine hospitals, and the evacuation of new places for any emergency cases that required the provision of artificial respirators and urgent medical care.
