The Ministry said in a statement read today by the Deputy Director of Communicable and Chronic Diseases Dr. Atef Al-Tawil that the number of those who left the quarantine centers reached 1156 out of 2270 people who arrived during the last period through the Syrian Airlines.

The ministry pointed out in its statement that the medical teams in the quarantine centers conducted about 1500 nasal swabs, which show their results according to the availability of kits for laboratory diagnosis of the virus, indicating that they are facing difficulty in securing them as a result of unilateral economic coercive measures imposed on Syria and the scarcity of supplies that Arrive from the who.

The Ministry indicated that it is working to secure medical services for residents of the stone centers through medical teams located around the clock that includes a three-day heat test, monitoring chronic conditions and chronic patients, and providing them with medicines or referring them to the hospital in the event it is necessary to add nasal swabs for laboratory diagnosis. The rest of the government agencies provide residence services, food and personal care materials for the residents of these centers in addition to cleaning and spraying insecticides.

With the gradual opening of economic and service activities, the Ministry appealed to citizens to not neglect the instructions for spacing, rules of hygiene, coughing and sneezing, and for the elderly and chronic patients not to leave the house and not be present in crowded places except for necessity.

With the approach of Happy Eid al-Fitr, the Ministry called on citizens to avoid gatherings and maintain a safe distance with others, especially people who feel respiratory symptoms, avoid hugs and only wave and gesture to greet and communicate with family and friends over the phone or social media and to avoid eating foods that are open and doubtful to their integrity.

It is noteworthy that the number of registered cases in Corona in Syria has reached 58 cases so far, 36 of them have recovered and 3 cases have died, so that the active cases, i.e. under treatment, 19 cases, including 14 cases from abroad.
