Allowing commercial and service occupations to work until seven in the evening until the end of the Eid holiday

Today, the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment issued a decision allowing all commercial and service professions that were opened on the 19th of last month to work until seven o’clock in the evening instead of five in the evening.

The Ministry indicated in its decision, which Sana received a copy of today, that it came on the occasion of the advent of Eid al-Fitr and to facilitate the movement of citizens and reduce congestion, noting that the decision is applied from today to the end of Eid al-Fitr holiday, including Friday, the 22nd of this month.

In its decision, the Ministry stressed the need to adhere to the requirements of maintaining public health.

The government team concerned with procedures to tackle the Corona virus agreed on twenty-third of last month to extend the opening hours of shops and all commercial professions and services to become from eight in the morning until five in the evening so that citizens can secure their needs in line with the privacy of the holy month of Ramadan.
