The Supreme Committee for Emergency in Yemen announced the monitoring of the first confirmed case of corona virus in Hadhramaut Governorate, noting that the patient’s condition is stable and receiving health care.
The National Committee published a tweet on its account in “Twitter”, confirming the injury without additional details.
And the local authorities in Hadramout governorate, southeast of Yemen, imposed a complete curfew on the coastal city of Al-Shehr since the early morning hours.
According to our correspondent, the curfew decision was not issued in advance, and was imposed by the authorities there for the first time, announcing this through loudspeakers installed over the civil defense vehicles that roam the city of Shahr to warn citizens against leaving.
Earlier, the Houthi government in Sanaa had warned of a catastrophic scenario if Corona entered Yemen.
