Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, discussed with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry the situations in the Middle East, particularly in Syria and Libya.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement quoted by Sputnik news Agency that Lavrov and Shoukry, during a telephone call on Monday, renewed the necessity of supporting the political track to solve the crisis in Syria in a manner that guarantees its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
