Wuhan, China adjusts numbers for deaths and injuries of the Coronavirus

The Chinese city of Wuhan has revised the numbers of new deaths and infections from the newly born Corona virus at a time when Hubei Province has declared no new deaths or confirmed cases of “Covid 19”.

As of the end of yesterday, the total number of confirmed cases of Covid 19 in Wuhan has been modified by 325 cases, bringing the total number to 50,333, while the number of deaths increased by 1,290 to a total of 3869, Xinhua news agency said.

Coved 19 prevention and control headquarters in Wuhan noted that the reviews were conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

In turn, the local health authorities in Hubei Province announced that no new deaths or confirmed injuries had been recorded in the province yesterday.

No deaths were reported yesterday on the Chinese mainland, while 3 new suspected cases were registered, all of them local, two in Heilongjiang Province and one in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The Chinese authorities reopened the markets of Wuhan, according to Chinese media, after lifting the closure imposed by the authorities last January to contain the epidemic.

The city authorities also announced that air traffic, railway and freight services will be fully operational at the end of this month.

In South Korea, 22 new cases of the virus were recorded during the past 24 hours, including 14 arrivals, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 10635 in addition to one death, bringing the total deaths to 230.

In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed that confirmed cases of corona virus rose by 3380 cases to 133830 to record new infections for the third consecutive day.

South Africa’s Ministry of Health announced 14 deaths within 24 hours, for a total of 48, while 99 people were recorded, bringing the total number of injuries to 2,605.
