The forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard in Iran today announced the successful launch of a satellite for military purposes.
The Revolutionary Guards said in a statement that the (Noor) satellite had been launched for military purposes and put it into orbit, 426 km, successfully.
The satellite launched Noor into the Qasid satellite carrier from an area of central Iran.
