The death toll of corona in the world touches the 100,000

Almost 100 days after the outbreak of the emerging Corona virus “Covid-19” in the world, the death toll from it is approaching 100,000 cases.

The latest data from Johns Hopkins University, which launched a project to follow up the virus, shows that the number of victims of the epidemic in the world reached 97,200 as of Friday.

Italy tops the list of countries most affected by the virus with the number of deaths with 18,279 cases, followed by the United States (16,703) and Spain (15,843).

It is expected that the United States will surpass Italy and lead the “black list” soon, due to the increasing frequency of the spread of the virus in its territories, as the total number of infections until today has reached 466,396 cases, which exceeds three times the outcome of infections in Spain (157022) and Italy (143626), which are It ranks second and third in the list of the largest virus hotspots in the world.

There are only two other countries in the world where the number of recorded injuries exceeds 100,000, namely France (118,890 injuries and 12,228 deaths) and Germany (118,235 cases and 2,607 deaths).

For its part, China managed to control the virus, as 77787 of the 82940 people infected with corona recovered, with 3340 deaths recorded.

And while the Arab world is still far from the top of the “black list”, Saudi Arabia stands out as the country most affected by the virus in terms of the number of infections (3651 cases), while the number of Algeria‘s deaths (235 deaths) to be the first Arab with the number of victims.
