Indonesia and the Philippines record the highest rate of corona outbreak among Southeast Asian countries

Many countries in Southeast Asia are still witnessing a continuous increase in the victims of the Corona virus, and Indonesia has the largest share, recording the highest rate of virus outbreak in that region, bypassing the Philippines

Today, Friday, the Indonesian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 407 new cases of corona virus, bringing the total number of infections to 5923, and responding to 24 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 420, and the ministry has conducted 42 thousand examinations of people so far.

In the Philippines, which is ranked second in terms of the number of injuries, the Ministry of Health recorded 218 new infections in its latest official data, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5878. It recorded 25 new deaths, for a total of 387.

The ministry announced that 52 patients recovered, bringing the total number of people recovering to 487.

In Malaysia, the authorities detected 69 new infections, the lowest daily increase since the government imposed restrictions on movement and business on March 18, bringing the total number of injuries to 5,251, and the Ministry of Health reported two new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 86.

As for Myanmar, it has reported 85 cases and four deaths from the Corona virus.
