Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang on Wednesday (April 29) urged the United States to respect fundamental facts, abandon arrogance and prejudice, and stop using religious issues to interfere in China’s internal affairs.
This came as a comment on the annual report of 2020, issued by the International Committee for Religious Freedom of the United States, recently, and criticized the situation of religious freedom in China, where Geng made it clear that this alleged committee was always charged with political bias against China, and published reports over the past years to discredit Its religious policy, stressing that its fallacies are not worth refuting at all.
