The European Commission expressed its hope that the countries of the Union will be able to lift the travel restrictions imposed against the backdrop of the Corona pandemic and the opening of borders between the countries of the Union as soon as possible in preparation for the opening of the external borders.

The Italian news agency, “Aki”, quoted a Vice-President of the European Commission, Vera Urova, as saying at a press conference after a meeting on how to help the transport and tourism sectors in the Union to face the repercussions of the crisis of the Corona epidemic that the Federation’s executive body will issue directives to help member states to restart public transport sectors before Opening its external borders, indicating the necessity of saving the tourist season.
