A high-ranking Syrian official considered that the opening of the M4 international road in Idlib will be through military action by the Syrian army, with the support of Russia, because Turkey and terrorist organizations will not implement the Moscow agreement on Idlib
In response to a press question, Acting Governor of Idlib Muhammed Fadi Al-Saadoun said on Tuesday whether the obstacles set by the terrorists for the failure to implement the Moscow agreement are carried out with the payment of Ankara or whether the latter is unable to control them: “There are two possibilities: By doing so directly .. The second possibility is that he is unable to implement the agreement and is a guarantor (of terrorists), and if he is unable to implement the agreement while he is a guarantor, let him leave the Syrian Arab Army to implement this agreement through military action.
Al-Saadoun said in a statement to the Syrian newspaper “Al-Watan” that the information confirms that terrorist groups have taken human shields to block the passage of patrols on international roads, and also destroyed and destroyed a bridge in order to impede the implementation of the agreement and prevent the operation of the road.
The official pointed out that there is information that “there are many weak souls who have been threatened with weapons and lured with money in order to carry out these sit-ins to impede the implementation of the agreement.”
Regarding his vision of the scenarios to which things will go in the region, Al-Saadoun said: “As long as the Russian side gave (Turkish President Rajep Tayyip Erdogan) a deadline to implement the agreement, the Syrian Arab Army is waiting for this deadline to be exhausted in order to bridge the excuses, and I think that things will go to military action ”
Al-Saadoun continued: “The people send many pleas through all social media to rid them of the abomination of terrorism.” He pointed out that the terrorists and even the aid provided by international organizations are monopolizing them and harnessing their terrorist actions and preventing them from the people.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the joint Russian-Turkish patrol of the M4 road on Sunday was shortened due to provocations of extremist armed gangs not subject to Turkey, noting that additional time was given to the Turkish side to take measures against terrorist organizations, and to ensure the security of the joint patrols on the M4.
