The number of deaths in Spain as a result of the emerging corona virus has increased to 3434 since the beginning of the epidemic, thus exceeding the number of registered deaths in China, which amounted to 3281.
Spain has recorded about 8 thousand cases of infection with the Corona virus in the last 24 hours, while more than 700 people have died.
According to the Spanish Ministry of Health, as of Wednesday, the number of corona virus infections was 47,610, of whom 3,166 were in serious condition, and 5,367 were recovering.
As of Wednesday morning, Corona afflicted more than 423,000 people in the world, more than 18,000 of whom had died, while more than 109,000 had recovered.
The spread of the virus forced many countries to close their borders, suspend flights, impose curfews, disrupt studies, cancel numerous events, prevent public gatherings, and close mosques and churches.
