Today, President Bashar Al-Assad issued Decree No. 86 of 2020, postponing the elections for members of the People’s Assembly until Wednesday, May 20, 2020, as part of the precautionary measures taken by the state to deal with the Corona virus.
On the third of this month, President al-Assad issued Decree No. 76 of 2020 to determine Monday, 13-14-2020 as the date for the election of members of the People’s Assembly for the third legislative role.
