Assad: Syria has not committed any hostilities against Turkey, and the current disputes are illogical

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad confirmed in an interview with “Russia-24” that his country has not committed any hostile acts against Turkey, and that the current differences are illogical.

In response to a question, Al-Assad said, “Is this your message to the Turkish people that there is no enmity with him?” Did I understand you correctly? ”,“ Of course .. we used to say about a fraternal people .. and now I ask the Turkish people, what is your case with Syria? What is the issue that a Turkish citizen deserves to die for? What is the small or large hostile act that Syria took against Turkey during the war or before the war? Not at all. ”

The Syrian President added: “There are intermarriages, there are common families, there is a daily interest relationship between Syria and Turkey, there are groups in Turkey of Syrian Arab origin, and there are groups in Syria of Turkish origin.”
