Turkish currency fell due to the Syrian air strike

The Turkish lira fell with the opening of the markets today by 0.2% against the dollar on the background of the killing of 33 Turkish soldiers in Idlib, Syria, last night, and Turkey’s talk about a wave of refugee migration to Europe.

The lira settled at 6.2195 against the dollar, as it retreated from the closing session of 6.2080 on Thursday, bringing its losses so far this year to more than 4%.
