The Syrian army thwarts a major attack by armed groups northwest of Syria

The Syrian News Agency, “SANA”, said this evening, Thursday, that the army thwarted a major attack by armed groups backed by Turkey, on the town of Neirab, southeast of Aleppo city,

The official agency reported that the Syrian forces managed to eliminate the elements of the attacking groups and destroyed their armored vehicles.

She added that despite the large crowd in the number of militants who carried out the attack in batches, and provided them with heavy weapons, the army was able to eliminate them and destroy their tanks and armored vehicles.

“SANA” pointed out that the Turkish regime‘s tools of terrorist groups resort to a campaign of misinformation and false news to cover the failure of its attack on the town of Neirab in Idlib countryside, and to cover the large losses suffered by the attacking groups.
