The “Ciara” storm sweeps European countries, causing casualties and canceling flights

The “Ciara” storm swept through several countries in northwestern Europe, killing and injuring several people, and canceling hundreds of flights. France 24 reported that the storm hit France, Germany, Britain, Belgium and Ireland, killing 5 people and wounding others.

The storm canceled hundreds of flights and suspended the movement of trains, as well as power outages for hundreds of homes, damaged buildings and uprooted trees. Heavy rain fell with winds exceeding 145 km per hour in some areas.
