The United States has recorded 1258 deaths from the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours, in a daily toll that is the lowest in nearly three weeks, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The university stated that, based on official figures, the total number of deaths due to corona virus in America increased to 51017, while the number of infections rose to 884,000.
The agency noted that this decline in numbers does not constitute at the present time an indication of any specific trend and will have to remain that way in the coming days in order to confirm the existence of actual improvement in the country.
