Head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic said that President Bashar al-Assad is the most important Arab political figure.
In a statement to SANA reporter in Prague on Thursday, Grospic said that President al-Assad represents the guarantee for the reconstruction process of Syria, and for its sovereignty and territorial integrity, in addition to the security and stability in it and in the region.
He noted that the Presidential election that has recently taken place in Syria affirmed the great popular support that president al-Assad enjoys, especially in terms of facing terrorism and its tools.
