Citizens return to villages and towns liberated from terrorism in Deir Ezzor northern countryside

villages and towns in Deir Ezzor northern countryside have witnessed a state of recovery and an intensified return by locals after liberating them from terrorism by the Syrian Arab Army in late 2017, ensuring the basic supplies equipment and services to restore life to different aspects in these areas.

Deputy chairman of the city’s Executive Office, Kanaan Abdel-Wahab, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the governorate, since the liberation of the seven villages in the northern countryside (Khasham, Tabiya, Mazloum, Hatla, Marat, al-Husseiniyah, al-Salhiya) from terrorism at the hands of the Syrian Arab Army in the end of 2017, has set an integrated plan of action to restore services and rehabilitation to what has been destroyed by terrorism.

The city council opened the streets and removed the debris , and then began to rehabilitate schools, bakeries, sewage networks, water, electricity and communications, which contributed to the intensive return of the people whose return turned the wheel of production and the area regained its previous lifestyle.

Abdel-Wahab pointed out that the number of people returning to their homes and villages in the northern countryside has reached about 75,000 citizens.
