Syria has condemned the US flagrant aggression on the Syrian-Iraqi borders, considering it as a blatant violation of the sanctity of the Syrian and Iraqi territories.
An official source at Foreign and Expatriates Ministry told SANA that the Syrian Arab Republic condemns the US blatant aggression on the Syrian-Iraqi borders and considers it a flagrant violation of the sanctity of Syrian and Iraqi lands.
The source added that the aggression, instructed by senior officials at the US leadership, proves once again the recklessness of US policies and the need to withdraw its hostile forces to meet the will of its people and constitutional institutions.
It went on to say that those attacks escalate the tense crucial situation in the region and prove “what we have repeatedly said in Syria that the US military presence in our region is basically meant to serve the Israeli goals and the separatist forces contrary to the interests of its people.”
The source concluded by saying that the Syrian Arab Republic renews its demand to the US administration to respect the territorial integrity of Syria and Iraq and to immediately stop those attacks on the independence of the two countries.
