The novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of three million and 224,000 persons worldwide since its appearance in December 2019, according to the last statistics by Worldo meters Website.
The Website added that the total number of infections has reached till now to 154,104,536, and the deaths have climbed up to 3,224,837, meanwhile the recoveries has reached to 131,422,582.
The US still tops the worst affected countries in terms of infections and deaths as it has recorded ndeaths out of 33,221,739 infections.
India comes second with 222,383 deaths out of 20,275,543 infections, then Brazil comes in the third place with 408,622 deaths out of 14,779,529 infections.
