Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Israel’s storming of Al-Aqsa disregards international demands to stop its attacks

Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the continued incursions of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, noting that it disregarded the international demands to put an end to the occupation attacks on the occupied city of Jerusalem.

“The occupation continues to implement its plans to Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque”, Wafa News Agency reported the Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement today, adding that incursions that took place this morning are a brutal provocation to the feelings of Muslims, and a continuation of the aggression against the Palestinian people in general and Jerusalem and its holy sites in particular.

The Foreign Ministry condemned the suffocating measures of the occupation and the siege imposed on Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem and the oppression and abuse of its people, pointing out that they are part of the occupation’s plans to displace locals of Jerusalem and demolish their homes or expel them by force.

The Foreign Ministry indicated that the occupation is trying to undermine the will of the people of Jerusalem and their steadfastness in the face of its Judaizing schemes through mass arrest campaigns that also included Al-Aqsa Mosque guards and the employees of the Islamic Endowments Ministry.

The Foreign Ministry renewed its demand for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations towards the Palestinian people and to stop the occupation crimes and its continuous violations against it.
