Head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic has stressed that the struggle of the Syrian people against terrorism and their sacrifices for the sake of preserving the unity and sovereignty of their homeland will be written in history in golden letters.
Grospic’s remarks came in a cable to the Syrian-Czech Friendship Group at the People’s Assembly on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the French occupation’s evacuation from the Syrian territory.
“Czech communists, members of trade unions and all true democratic ideologists highly appreciate the successes achieved by the Syrian people and their political and military leadership in defending national sovereignty and in the struggle against terrorism and for the sake of preserving the territorial integrity of their homeland,” Grospic said.
