Cabinet calls for monitoring markets and controlling prices during Ramadan

The Cabinet on Tuesday listened to a brief by Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection about the situation of the markets during the holy month of Ramadan.

The cabinet, during its weekly session led by Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, called for monitoring the markets and controlling the prices through positive intervention by Syrian Trade Establishment.

It called on Health Ministry to take what is necessary to develop the pharmaceutical sector, support its industry, secure the local market’s need with quality and reasonable prices and target the export market, affirming the importance of establishing an electronic platform for those wishing to take the COVID19 vaccine.
