Long before the expected announcement of the novelty of the Xiaomi Mi Mix series, a mockup of the future novelty was lit up in insider photos. According to a Chinese source, this particular model will be the brand’s first foldable device.
A series of images was posted on his blog by online informant Tech Vision. Outwardly, the dummy of the device resembles the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2, but the signature Mix is clearly visible on the back cover of the device. The display is not installed on the prototype caught in the insider’s frame, but the folding design means that the matrix will be bent in the center.
There is also a camera “emulator” on the body of the gadget, showing the location of the three image sensors. Alas, the source does not provide any technical characteristics of the demonstrated gadget. Earlier, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed that the company is working on its own flexible display gadget.
