On March 15th, Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations
Majid Takht Rawanji reaffirmed that any solution to the crisis in Syria must guarantee its sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
During a meeting of the UN Security Council on Syria, Takht Rawanji said that the only solution to the crisis in Syria is a peaceful approach consistent with international law.
Takht Rawanji said that the American occupation of part of the Syrian territories contradicts the basic principles of international law and called for the departure of illegal foreign forces from Syria.
Takht Rawanji condemned the continuation of the Israeli attacks on Syria and called on the international community to force the Israeli occupation entity to stop its continuous aggression against Syria.
