Salah Denies Rumors About Problems Among The Pharaohs

Egypt international and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah took to Twitter to deny rumors about the Egyptian national team that have been taken over local media reports and social media.

“Everyone in the Egyptian team is united and there is no disagreement between us. We respect each other and our relationship is at its best,” the football star tweeted.

Over the past few days, several Egyptian outlets reported that Salah argued with the team’s manager Ehab Lahita over a group of actors and public figures visiting the team’s camp in Saint Petersburg and distracting the players ahead of their game against Russia.

The media also stated that goalkeeper Essam al-Hadry was angry for not playing in Egypt’s first two games.

According to Mo, however, the reports are nothing but false.

Egypt’s last World Cup game is against Saudi Arabia on June 25. Following the 1:0 loss against Uruguay and 3:1 loss against Russia, The Pharaohs have been disqualified from the tournament.
