Russia stressed on Wednesday that Syria has the full right to run presidential elections during the current year, saying “there are no rules that might obstruct that issue.”
Russia Today quoted First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, Dmitry Polanski, as saying at a press conference, “We all must help run those elections … this is our stance.”.
