The Russian authorities hope that their relations with the European Union will improve after the head of the EU’s foreign policy, Josep Borrell, arrives in Moscow. Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the EU Vladimir Chizhov told the journalists about this.
At the same time, he stressed that now the relations between the parties cannot be called deeply frozen. In particular, consultations are underway on the Iranian nuclear issue, trade and political issues, and so on. At the same time, relations between Russia and the European Union are in an abnormal state, Chizhov believes.
