NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg called for turning the alliance into a platform for dialogue and coordination with countries that share its tendencies to “deter” Russia and China.
During a press conference held following the first day of the NATO meeting at the level of defense ministers, Stoltenberg said: “We have to use NATO more as a platform for consultation and coordination. Do not share our values, like Russia and China. ”
He pointed out that “deterring China and Russia” will be the goal of the new strategic vision of the alliance that will be adopted during the upcoming NATO summit this year.
