The Russian Coordination Center on Sunday distributed a number of food baskets in al-Bitaryieh town in Damascus Countryside in framework of the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.
Head of al-Bitaryieh Town Council Ali Hussein Salman, in a statement to SANA, said that the number of families which benefited from the aid reached up to 250, adding that the aid was distributed among the families of the martyrs and the wounded and the needy families and among the persons with disability.
Salman noted that the crisis has negatively affected the living conditions for the locals in the town, expressing thanks for the Russian friends.
It is noteworthy that on Jan.17th, the Russian Coordination Center distributed 250 food baskets in al-Hijanieh town in Damascus countryside.
