Russian President’s Special representative, Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, affirmed his country’s commitment to Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“Bogdanov, meeting Syrian Ambassador in Moscow, Riad Haddad, on Friday, stressed his country’s firm support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Russian Foreign Ministry said in statement posted on its website on Saturday.
Bogdanov added Russia is always ready to support the Syrian people in the fight against international terrorism.
The statement said the talks during the meeting focused on the latest developments in Syria and the region and issues related to the reconstruction process in the country.
