| The Media Office of the Caretaker Minister of Public Health announced in a statement on Sunday, that “Minister Hamad Hassan signed this morning the final contract with the Pfizer Company to secure more than two million and one hundred thousand vaccines that will arrive gradually starting from the beginning of February. |
“This contract is in addition to the agreement signed last October with the global platform Kovacs sponsored by the World Health Organization to secure two million seven hundred thousand vaccines from multiple international companies that will arrive in succession to Lebanon,” the statement added.
“The Ministry of Public Health, in cooperation with the private sector, is about to secure two million vaccines from Astrazeneca and Sinopharm as of next February,” it stressed.
