A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit in the East Mediterranean near Antalya province in Turkey, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced on Saturday.
The quake occurred at a depth of 48.2 miles (77.58 kilometers), 30.45 miles (49 kilometers) southwest of the town of Gazipasa, the agency said. According to the AFAD, no casualties, serious injuries or major damage were reported immediately following the quake.
