Foreign and Expatriates Ministry called on the Lebanese judiciary to unveil all conditions related to the regrettable incident that claimed the life of a Lebanese citizen in Lebanese Bsharri town, and to put an end to the provocation and racial language.
“The Syrian Arab Republic followed with big interest the regrettable incident in the town of Bsharri that claimed the life of a Lebanese citizen and it offers condolences to the family of the deceased and call on the competent judiciary to play its role with full transparency to uncover all conditions of this case and put an end to incitement and racial language or exploiting this individual incident,” an official source at the Foreign Ministry told SANA on Saturday.
The source added that the Syrian Arab Republic while appreciates voices highly rose in Lebanon against the political exploitation of this incident, it demands the Lebanese government and the authorities concerned to prevent any exploitation of this incident to offend the Syrian displaced and carry out their duties in protecting the Syrian citizens who live in Lebanon.
It affirmed that the Syrian Arab Republic renews call on to the Syrian citizens who were forced by unjust war conditions to leave their country to return to their homeland and live in it in dignity and safety, and it will provide all facilities for this return and work as much as possible to guarantee the requirements of their decent living .
