Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov on Tuesday discussed with Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow, Dr. Riyad Hadad the situation in Syria and the region in light of the necessity for collaborating international efforts to help in rebuilding the economic and social infrastructure in Syrian Arab Republic, in addition to the return of refugees to their homeland.
On its website, the Russian Foreign Ministry mentioned that during his meeting with Haddad on Monday, Bogdanov affirmed Moscow’s firm support to the Syria’s sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and its readiness to continue to support the Syrian people for combating international terrorism.
